Pulsar Merger LRF XQ35
The Merger LRF XQ35 thermal imaging binoculars are as compact as a pair of classic daytime binoculars, making them ideal for long periods of comfortable observation. Being the lightest in the Merger product line, this device offers balanced weight distribution for a uniform load in the user's hands, excellent for fatigue-free observation.
Classic Binocular Design
The Merger LRF XQ35 has been built with the classic design of daytime binoculars in mind. With a small form factor, these thermal imaging binoculars fit comfortably in the hand, but still offer appealing external aesthetics and exemplary ergonomics. Six function buttons are placed in comfortably accessible zones and the most used digital device functions are activated with a single touch.
Highly Sensitive Thermal Sensor
The Merger LRF XQ35 is equipped with a highly sensitive 384x288, 17µm, < 25 mK NETD, European-made Lynred sensor which qualitatively captures a useful signal under difficult observation conditions when thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible during heavy rain, dense fog, and high atmospheric humidity.
Fast Aperture 35mm f1.0 Germanium Lens
The 35mm f1.0 germanium objective lens features high infrared transmission in the LWIR range. Due to the high precision manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image generated by the Merger LRF XQ35 is well-distinguished for its clarity and detailing.
Proximity Sensor for Covert Use
Observation in the dark requires being covert, so that observed animals are not alerted by any presence. Going into stand-by using the Display Off feature is the usual way to prevent backlight from the eyepieces giving away your location. To reduce the likelihood of this happening, the Merger LRF XQ35 uses a built-in proximity sensor acting as a display switch, preventing backlight exposure in the dark. When the unit is taken away from the eyes, the proximity sensor switches both displays off, and when the unit is brought closer, both displays are switched on, offering excellent image quality.
Rugged Magnesium Alloy Housing
This pair of thermal imaging binoculars has been designed for constant, often hard use with a magnesium alloy housing that remains both lightweight and strong at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time, a metal housing effectively removes the heat from electronics and increases consistency of the device operation during long-term observation.
Precise Laser Rangefinding up to 1000m
The Merger LRF XQ35's built-in precision laser rangefinder offer the ability to gauge accurate distance measurements between user and observed animal/object at a range of up to 1000m in single measurements and continuous scanning modes, with an accuracy of ± 1 m for quick and error-free assessment of the field of view.
Combined Dual Battery System
The Merger LRF XQ35 is powered with two rechargeable batteries - one built-in with a capacity of 4 Ah, the other replaceable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A single charge guarantees up to 11 hours of battery life. The replaceable battery is embossed to allow for accurate determination of the batterys position, making it possible to quickly and confidently replace a flat battery with a new one in complete darkness by touch alone.
3 Levels of Sensitivity Amplification
Selection of the signal amplification level, combined with new filtration algorithms with fine brightness and contrast adjustments, offers the user great opportunities for long-range observation in diverse weather and temperature conditions. The amplification setting helps to define an animals anatomical features and ensures clear rendering of objects and background in the field of view.
Built-In Photo & Video Recorder
The Merger LRF XQ35's built-in video recorder and internal memory makes it possible to capture video or still images and store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. One touch of a button is enough to take a photo of an interesting scene or start recording video.
Stream Vision 2
Built-in Wi-Fi connects the Merger LRF XQ35 to an Android or iOS smartphone via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This opens up a wide range of options including wireless device software updates, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, publication on social media of photo and video content captured by the device, transfer to social messengers, remote control of digital device functions, and access to the latest news from Pulsar. Moreover, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos recorded with the device.
Comfortable Viewing Experience
The Merger LRF XQ35's optical design fully takes into account the nature of human vision. It is natural for a person to receive visual information through two visual channels simultaneously. Viewing with two eyes is less tiring than viewing with one. This means better detection of small or faint objects, and better performance in low-contrast scenarios than similar monocular thermal imaging devices with the same technical level. The interpupillary distance in the Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable from 62 to 74 mm in accordance with the individual characteristics of a particular user.
High-Contrast HD AMOLED Display
Features an HD AMOLED display that will deliver crisp, richly contrasted, vividly coloured field of view. This AMOLED technology ensures flawless, fluid, high-resolution images whilst achieving power saving characteristics.
8 Colour Palettes
A choice of 8 colour palettes lets the user observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimise the unit for specific tasks as well as react to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase chances for recognition & identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are most suitable for long observation in the night.
IPX7 Rated
IPX7 waterproof rated for protection from heavy rainfall, snow, or other precipitation. The unit is designed to run flawlessly, even after submersion in up to 1 m of water for up to 30 minutes.
Operation in Extreme Temperatures -25 to +50°C
Housing, power unit, optics and electronics of Merger LRF are designed with regard to applications in wide range of temperatures. Merger ensures reliable and effective performance in freezing cold up to -25°C.
