Pulsar Merger LRF XP35 thermal camera

Pulsar Merger LRF XP35 thermal camera

Small Footprint, Huge Performance

The Merger LRF XP35 is the smallest pair of thermal imaging binoculars in the Pulsar range, offering the largest FOV from any pair of Merger binoculars, unprecedented detection capabilities, and accurate distance measurements at a range of up to 1000 m.

Powerful Thermal Performance

The Merger LRF XP35 may be the smallest iteration in the Merger series, but its performance vastly outperforms its size thanks to the 640×480, 17µm, <25 mK NETD European made Lynred thermal sensor. This sensor’s 640×480 pixel resolution achieves excellent identification capabilities, revealing an animal’s important anatomical features and every detail of the surrounding landscape. <25 mK NETD thermal sensitivity ensures even the smallest heat signature is revealed both by night and during the day, regardless of challenging weather conditions, at a range of up to 1350 m.

Astonishingly Wide FOV

The Merger LRF XP35’s outstanding 17.8° field of view is the widest in the Merger series, opening up the observation area more than ever before. This wide FOV simplifies the way in which a user can search and scan any given area, significantly improving situational awareness and ensuring observation always remains convenient and comfortable.

Three Sensitivity Amplification Levels

The Merger LRF XP35’s three adjustable sensitivity amplification levels and Pulsar’s new filtration algorithms with fine brightness and contrast adjustments provide better long-range observation opportunities in varying weather and temperature conditions, ensuring the best possible thermal image in any situation. These amplification settings work to provide excellent definition of an animal’s trophy features whilst achieving crystal-clear renderings of objects and background environments within the FOV.

Built-In Precision Laser Rangefinder

A seamlessly integrated precision laser rangefinder provides accurate distance measurements at a range of up to 1000m with an accuracy of ±1m, allowing users to ascertain the distance between themselves and their observed animal or object. This laser rangefinder enables greater information gathering in the field and enable well-informed decision making when it matters most.

Comfortable Observation

Designed to remain comfortable and resilient, the Merger LRF XP35 retains the familiar aesthetics of a pair of classic binoculars, remaining comfortable to hold and never looking out of place in a user’s hands. Their ergonomic design makes them perfect for prolonged periods of fatigue-free observation, and their convenient button arrangement is designed to provide easy access to all important digital functions with minimal hand movement. Furthermore, their adjustable 62-74 mm interpupillary distance ensure a much more comfortable observation experience, allowing the user to adjust accordingly to match their needs.

AMOLED HD Display

Power saving HD AMOLED displays provide stunning images with crisp detail, rich contrast, and vivid colours across the entire field of view. This AMOLED technology delivers flawless high-resolution images, so no detail is ever missed.

9 Hours Battery

The Merger LRF XP35 features a dual battery system which uses one built-in rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4 Ah and one replaceable rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3.2 Ah for an overall run time of up to 9 hours (depending on temperature), making them perfect for long periods of observation. Plus, when those observations run into the night, the unique embossment on the top of the replaceable battery makes swapping the battery out easier than ever, allowing the user to ascertain the correct battery position by touch alone.

Proximity Sensor

For moments where discretion is required, when the slightest movement may startle an observed animal, the Merger LRF XP35’s proximity sensor ensures no light will leak from the eyepieces when the device is not in use, therefore reducing the risk of an animal being alerted to your presence during observations. This power saving feature will automatically switch the eyepieces into standby mode via the Display Off feature once the binoculars are taken away from the eyes, and when they are raised back to the eyes, the screens will switch back on instantaneously.

Eight Colour Palettes

Eight colour palettes enable effective observation of the field of view, each of which allow the user to optimise the device for specific scenarios and adapt to changing conditions.

White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are perfect for object detection; Rainbow and Ultramarine will increase recognition and identification capabilities; and Sepia, Red Monochrome, and Violet are best for long, night-time observation.

Built-In Video Recorder

A built-in still image and video recorder with audio will capture every memorable moment during observations at just the press of a button, storing hours of footage and thousands of still images to the device’s 16GB internal memory or on the generous 16GB of free cloud storage via Stream Vision 2. This feature is particularly useful to those who need to scrutinise their footage at a later time.

Stream Vision 2

The Merger LRF XP35 features a built-in Wi-Fi module, enabling quick connection to Android or iOS smartphones or tablets using the Stream Vision 2 app, offering a wide range of connectivity features, including:

Remote Control

Use a mobile phone as a wireless remote to control and adjust the device’s settings. See all the changes made on your smartphone or tablet screen in real-time. Recording footage or capturing still images can also be achieved using a mobile phone.

Browse & Share

Browse through all photos and videos captured on the device. It is even possible to download and share these files with friends.

Firmware Updates

Download all the latest features and stay up to date by remotely updating the device using Stream Vision’s firmware update abilities, ensuring the device is always running on the most current firmware.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Taking Thermal & Night Vision Outside of the UK.

Thermal imaging and night vision products are strictly controlled by ITAR regulations and are subject to UK Government Export Licensing Regulations. Dependent on specification, a licence may need to be obtained prior to the export, even temporarily (e.g. holiday), from the UK.

Additionally, some countries may be embargoed, and no thermal imagers or night vision devices can be taken or exported to them. It is the responsibility of the exporter, whether it be a company or individual, to ensure that such a licence is obtained.

Failure to comply is a criminal offence.
