Wildflower Turf Pegs
We supplied our biodegradable turf pegs to the Peak District National Park to help control erosion at Pilsbury Castle Hills, a Scheduled Ancient Monument (site of a Norman Motte & Bailey castle) located south of Buxton in the Peak District National Park
Our biodegradable mulch mat & turf stakes are available in boxes of 1,000 x 2 inch (50mm), 500 x 4 inch (100mm) & 500 x 6 inch (150mm), and are completely biodegradable - use with biodegradable mulch mat so you don't need to remove it.
Biodegradable mulch mat & turf stakes provide an efficient, cost effective and environmentally friendly alternative to the plastic and metal stakes, pegs and pins currently available.
There is no need to remove the stakes as they are 100% biodegradable - this saves on removal and landfill costs as they will degrade into the soil. Note that these are not 'biodegradable' plastic (which aren't actually biodegradable) - they are made from plant starch, so will not leave a plastic residue in the soil!!
Biodegradable tent pegs as supplied to Glastonbury & WOMAD Festivals
Use our 6" biodegradable stakes for camping instead of plastic tent pegs, which if broken stay in the ground indefinately. Our biodegradable tent pegs will simply disappear.
The 6 inch pegs are ideal for use with our wildflower meadow turf.
