With a never-ending choice of wildlife subjects, you certainly won't be bored on this trip. This is an extremely biodiverse area with many species that are now rare or extinct in the UK as well as species you'll be familiar with but in much greater numbers than you can see in the UK.

About the event

Spaces are limited, with only four now available. We take a maximum of six guests.

Be prepared to be blown away by how much biodiversity the UK has lost! We'll spend our days slowly bimbling around the countryside, photographing wildlife along paths and tracks but also through the flower-rich hay-meadows. In the evenings, and early mornings, you can sit out and try to photograph the beavers in our 'back garden'. Or bring a bat detector and listen to the many bats that feed on the multitude of insects.

During the day you'll be amazed at how noisy the countryside is, thrumming with insects calling and complemented beautifully by myriad birds, including golden orioles, yellowhammers (now rare or absent in much of the UK), quail and corncrakes, all of which you can try to photograph.
